Dear Sivarama krishna
We are planning for second phase training on 24th to 26th November. Just received your letter. Brief notes was prepared from our side with the training contents. We will combine both reports and send you report by 14th. The topics that were covered in the first phase are:
- Basic land records and land related issues
- Understantding revenue map, pahani and FMB
- Identifying land according to the survey numbers in the map
- Idetnifying land marks/survey stones on ground
- Cross checking the measurements in FMB with the measurements/survey stones on ground and identifying gaps.
- Brief understanding of possible issues on ground with regard to land records and actual possession
Particpants learnt the above things and were given certain tasks to do before the second phase of training
- To study the map and pahani of their respective villages
- Practice surveying their own lands and other lands using FMB
- Identify any problems in their respective villages and record the nature of the problem
Through the first phase of training the participants could get basic orientation on legal aspects of land and related records. We expect to build on these in the second phase of training. We expect the trainees to be able to consolidate their learnings in the first phase, be able to calculate the area, more practice of surveying, be able to analyse the nature of the problem and also identify possible ways of solving the problems. Also understand the land administration issues.
I request you to give feed back on these expectations and suggest day wise contents for three days of second phase training. It will help in giving a proper structure to the program and also for our preparation.
best wishes
