Chenchus' demand
MAHABUBNAGAR: The Chenchu tribes of Scheduled Areas in Mahabubnagar district have been demanding that the authorities reorganize mandal headquarters of their habitations keeping in view the logistics, distance and convenience. Around 60 Chenchu habitations have been spread in Balmur, Lingala and Amrabad mandals.
Tokala Guruvaiah, a resident of Appapur, moved the High Court seeking inclusion of his habitation in Amrabad mandal, just 10 km away.
